Straight Sinus Blades

ENT blades are sterile, single-use, specialized rotary surgical instruments used in otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat) procedures. They are attached to rotary handpieces for precise cutting soft tissue or cartilage in the ear, nose, and throat areas. Blades are made from stainless steel.

Different Blades designs and sizes are available to accommodate various surgical techniques to facilitate cutting, resecting, and the complete removal of debride, or soft tissue and cartilage in ENT surgeries.

Intended Purpose:

ENT blades are sterile rotary surgical instruments intended to cut, resect, debride, or remove soft tissue and cartilage during surgical procedures of the ear, nose and throat, including endoscopic sinus surgery and related ENT procedures.

Performance Characteristics:

• The rotating blades can sharply excise mucosa, soft tissue, and cartilage.

• It allows improved access to some hard-to-reach areas, such as the paranasal sinuses.

• Operate safely: Ensure the handpiece is switched off before changing burs and avoid excessive contact pressure during use.
• Do not modify: Never sharpen, alter, or modify the bur, as this may compromise performance and patient safety.
• Qualified users only: The device should only be used by trained healthcare professionals following accepted surgical techniques.
